Oh Hanumanji! You are valiant and brave, with a body like lightening. You are the remover of darkness of evil thoughts and companion of good sense and wisdom.

Shri Hanumanji’s your physique is golden coloured which means your body shines like Gold. Your dress is pretty and you wear ‘Kundals’ ear-rings and your hairs are long and curly.

Hath Bajra Aur Dhvaja Biraje, Kandhe Moonj Janeu saaje.
Shri Hanumanji, you hold mace (gada) (the fighting weapon of Hanuman Ji) in one hand and in the other you hold a flag. Janeu, a sacred thread (which is usually wore during the yagyopaveet sanskar of a child) can also be seen across your shoulder.

You appeared before Mata Sita in a very tiny form and spoke to her (This is in reference to when Lord Hanuman went to Lanka in search of Mata Sita). You also took a massive awesome form and struck terror by setting Lanka on fire.

O Hanuman Ji you with your giant terrible form, killed demons in Lanka and performed all acts of Shri Ram.

When Hanumanji made Lakshman alive after bringing ‘Sanjivni herb’ Shri Ram took him in his deep embrace, his heart full of joy. (When Lakshman Ji got hit by the shakti weapon which was used by Indrajeet, Lord Rama got very upset. He was so tensed that he even mentioned now he will fight this war no more and he also said that he will not return to Ayodhya because when all the three mothers will ask him about Lakshman how he’ll be able to show his face to his mothers.)

(But Hanuman Ji saved the life of Lakshman by bringing the sanjivani herb in the right time and that’s how Hanuman took all the sorrows of Ram Ji.)

After this Sanjivani incidence, Shri Ram proudly praised Hanumanji’s excellence and remarked, “you are as dear to me as my own brother Bharat”
