Worship Method of Saubhagya Panchami
The fast of Saubhagya Panchami is specifically for married women. On this day, women observing the fast should wake up before sunrise, bathe, and then wear clean clothes. They should set up a platform or seat at the place of worship. In the evening, they should establish the idols of Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati, and Lord Ganesh, offering flowers and fruits, and lighting a lamp. Following this, they should apply tilak with sandalwood, turmeric, and kumkum, offer akshat (rice) and panchamrit (a mixture of five ingredients), and perform aarti for Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati, and Lord Ganesh while praying for their husband’s long life and prosperity.
