Shree Krishna became Saarthi of Arjun’s Chariot

Before the Mahabharata war was about to begin, both the Kauravas and the Pandavas had to increase their army. That is why Duryodhan from the Kauravas’ side and Arjun from the Pandavas’ side reached Shri Krishna’s city Dwarka to ask for help.
Shri Krishna said that on one side I will be alone without holding weapons and on the other side there will be my army, whoever wants to choose, can choose. On this Duryodhan asked for Shri Krishna’s army and Arjun asked Shri Krishna to become the charioteer of his chariot.
Shri Krishna asked Hanuman ji for Help
When the war was about to begin, then Shri Krishna called Hanuman Ji and said to him, “Just as you served my Ram form in Treta Yuga, supported goodness in the war between evil and goodness, in the same way I want you to support goodness in this great war as well and be on the side of the Pandavas.”
Then Hanuman Ji asked what he could do. Shri Krishna ordered him to go and live in the flag on Arjuna’s chariot, so that your power and support remain with the Pandavas.
Hanuman Ji on Arjun Rath

Because Hanuman Ji himself was riding on Arjuna’s chariot, that is why Arjuna’s chariot moved at the speed of the wind and was so powerful that the chariot could not be damaged.
The speed of Arjuna’s chariot was so much that it could go from one end of the battlefield to the other and come back in a single day.

Proof of the power of the chariot of Arjun
Once a fierce war was going on between Arjuna and Karna. When Arjuna would attack with his arrows, Karna’s chariot would go far behind. On the other hand, when Karna used to attack with his arrows, Arjuna’s chariot would move back only a little.
In this way, both of them used to push the chariots back by attacking each other many times. But whenever Arjun used to attack, Shri Krishna would not say anything. But whenever Karna used to attack, Shri Krishna would start praising Karna.
At this, Arjuna got irritated and asked Shri Krishna –
“O Madhusudan! You remain silent when my arrows attack, whereas Karna’s chariot moves back so much. And when my chariot moves back only a little due to his arrows, you start praising him. Why is this so, Lord?”
Then Shri Krishna told Arjuna this secret that –
“O Arjuna! Hanuman ji himself is seated on your chariot and if despite his presence your chariot is moving back due to Karna’s attack, then think if he was not there, where would your chariot have moved due to Karna’s attack. And that is why I am honoring Karna’s bravery.”
Destruction of the chariot after the end of the war
Hanuman Ji had protected Arjun’s chariot so much that when Hanuman Ji got down from the flag on the chariot after the war was over, the chariot burned and got destroyed as soon as he got down.
On this, both Shri Krishna and Arjun thanked Hanuman Ji.
