Who was the eighth incarnation of Vishnu?
Lord Vishnu took birth on this earth as Shree Krishna as his eighth incarnation. This incarnation was for the re-establishment of religion, destruction of sinners and protection of devotees. He was born in Dwapar Yuga. Before this lord Vishnu incarnated as Lord Rama in the Treta Yug.

When and how was Lord Krishna born?
Lord Krishna was first born to end the atrocities of a cruel king like his mother Kansa and it would not be wrong to say that Shri Krishna was also born to teach the lesson that no matter how powerful the evil is, in the end, only Dharma wins.
Shri Krishna was born as the eighth child of Kansa’s sister Devaki and her husband Vasudev. There was an Akashvani (voice from the sky) which told Kansa that his sister’s eighth child would be the cause of his death. Frightened by this, Kansa imprisoned his sister and brother-in-law and killed his sons along with him.
Shri Krishna was born on the Ashtami of Bhadrapada month, at 12 o’clock in the night, in the prison of Mathura. This is the day when we celebrate Krishna Janmashtami every year in today’s time.
Lord Krishna killed many Demons in his Childhood

Immediately after his birth, his father Vasudev, to save his son’s life, crossed the Yamuna and put him to sleep at Nand-Yashoda’s house in Gokul, that is, as soon as Krishna was born, he was separated from his parents.
From childhood, Kansa sent many demons to Gokul to kill Krishna, such as Putana, Trinavarta, Shaktasur, Bakasur, Aghasur, but every time he faced them with great courage and miraculous power.
How did Shree Krishna kill his maternal uncle Kansa?
When Lord Krishna grew up a little, he traveled to Mathura with Akrur ji and his elder brother Balaram and challenged Kansa there on the pretext of a wrestling competition. Shri Krishna came to Mathura and broke a bow which even the greatest warriors and wrestlers could not move. Shri Krishna killed Kansa by making him fall on his own stage. After this, he freed his parents from prison and freed Mathura from atrocities.

Kunti was the sister of Devaki, the mother who gave birth to Lord Krishna. Kunti was married to King Pandu, who was the king of Hastinapur. Shri Krishna also gave the sermon of Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna in Kurukshetra itself, which is still a guiding text of religion, yoga, and karma.
